The Community Health Project sprouted as a grass roots venue for us all to creatively share experiences and opinions about health and health care. Our mission is to create a forum for expression and means to education.
Definitions:
Health, according to us, is the absence of disease and injury and the presence of
vitality and happiness.
Community means everyone in our local, national and global neighborhoods.

Goals
-High quality and affordable health care for all
-You taking charge of your own health and happiness
First: access to emergency care, hospital stays, necessary surgeries and care for long term illnesses.
Second: access to and choice of primary providers for general care, pediatric,
women's and men's health and senior care.
Third: A holistic view of medicine is essential, not optional. It's about restoring and maintaining health by treating the root of problems while supporting the body's natural defenses. Treatments may include pharmacy meds, herbs, nutrition, mental health support and hands-on treatments like chiropractors, massage therapy and acupuncture.
Fourth: The health of our planet directly affects the health of us all. We are big advocates for environmental health: clean water, clean air and sustainable living and business practices.
And the ultimate resource, access to EDUCATION. Educated people take care of themselves better and cost the health care system
much less money and effort in the long term.
